Nice new hotel near Fordham in the Bronx Brand new hotel with friendly staff located right next to an LA Fitness and a cluster of hospitals. Was the closest decent hotel I could find near to Fordham's Rose Hill campus, and taxis/Ubers were always available within a few minutes. Can walk down the drive to a Starbucks, though the daily buffet breakfast was convenient and tasty - food staff was extra friendly!
