The room that was assigned to me reeked of smoke. It seemed like someone was smoking next door or above or below me, it was unbearable. I reported it to the front desk and they did nothing about even though the staff came to the room and smelled the strong scent also. The next day I complained again and it took a while before I was transferred to another room that had two big red stains on the carpet, I made sure to take pictures of them.
I asked the staff to extend my stay by one night, the attendant took my card, but never ran it. My stay was never extended and then I had to leave. I made it work, but this could have ruined the trip.
