We’re checked into The Sagaponack at 3:00 PM. We notified the front desk by phone, email, message and through hotels.com that our heat was not working. We are in NY. It was 30 degrees outside and 57 degrees inside our room. The heat was broken. See attached pictures. At 11:30 PM someone finally came to our room and after being inside the room and going somewhere for 30 minutes came back with a key to another room. I am shocked and appalled that it took several hours to remedy this situation. I am requesting a refund due to t... read more

Clean was all it had going for it. It was not worth the $300+ a night we paid. The room was cramped. One window was covered up with a rack for coats, etc. The mirror in bathroom was partially covered by a shelf at face height. No room to leave toiletries in bathroom. Just about 20 inches between the end of the bed and the wall to get to the bathroom. Banged my shins 4 times. For $105 in amenities-we used one bar hand soap, one bottle of water, one coffee, and two tiny croissants. Room was not cleaned after the second night—-... read more

The property was well cared for. It is a renovated motel and the rooms are very small. No closet, tiny bathroom and definetly not comfortable for four people in the "studios". Each room has a light by the door that shines in to the room all night long. Each room has outdoor furniture and that is where we spent our time while we had to be at the room. The 'continental breakfast' included an apple and a coissant. Make your own coffee is available. Not worth $900 for one night in late September!

I don't know why this happened, but when I arrived at the hotel, we were asked to pay $35 for Property tax.I thought that I had paid for everything when I purchased it on the website, but it turned out that was not the case.At the reception they told us that the expedition had underpaid them by $35.

I never wrote negative reviews but I think this one deserves it. We spent over $700/nt for a glorified motel. The staff was fine, not good or bad. But the room was awful (unless the other option is motel 6). Price is offensive for the product. There were bugs on our bed and a window unit ac that barely worked. Would not recommend.
