Service was slow, food was cold, unfriendly server.
Sam was an awesome waiter. The food was not great. We expected way better prepared food on Sunday . 12-20-2020. The cheese grits were good, also the hash browns. Bacon and eggs were not good. I will mention again that Sam did great.
call it what you want! the manager went around to the tables of the those who were Caucasian ethnicity as well as greeted them when they entered & left the Diner. Not once did he greet us or even look our way. The diner is very small, therefore it can not be said that he didn't see us. The food is trash & I'm being generous to use that word. Maybe that was intentional to keep us from returning. That's a thouvht!
Ordered our meal which consisted of fried steak dinner, 2 hamburgers and 2 fries, chicken and waffles. Took the order out and no fries or syrup. Had to go back to get the fries. The chicken fried steak was so tough that I could not eat. Literally threw in the trash. The food was not very good and it cost around $73 for all of it. Will not recommend them to any of my friends.
There was water dripping from the ceiling onto our table and then they sent a young kid over to wipe it over our table with our food on it!!! Like, are you serious?!?! Would not recommend. Was an awful experience for me and the ppl with me!
The absuloute worst gumbo I have ever had! The roux was horrible!
We arrived early and the four adults and three kid were seated we ordered, waited along time for our orders to arrive several were late. I ordered baggies to go but had to reorder and wait and wait. I would not return and would not recommend this restaurant to others.
Was disappointed in the seafood gumbo. Not much seafood in the gumbo. We paid a lot of money for the gumbo to just have 2 shrimp and 1 oyster in it. We stopped in at night maybe they were running low.
