Not a fan, maybe should try more items. But with the service, probably won't. I spoke with someone that raved about the Chicken Flautas but didn't care for them. I also had the Large Burrito, but again wasn't impressed. The other items I wish that I would have tried was the Crab Shrimp and Avocado, the Fajitas and the Queso. But again the service at the bar stunk, so why bother, maybe next time I'll sit at a table. Perhaps it will be better then.
I had high hopes..considering some of the reviews I saw. Our waitress/wait staff was, overall good. HOWEVER, not sure what was going on in the kitchen. Everyone who got beans at the table, received "soup" essentially with barely any beans...further more, everyone's rice was COLD. What's that all about? Who knows...So the manager was called over at some point, we let him know. Visited Sunday at 8:30, asked to be seated and the staff was not sure if they were still accepting guests even though the stated hours say that they close at 10pm. Decided it was best to simply dine else where as obviously the staff was not wanting to serve us, and how good would the food have been if we had stayed... Was looking forward to trying this place as it came recommended, not sure at this point I will be back.
The food was ok to say the least but the major problem I had was two different menus that showed different prices. When it was brought to the wait staff attention, I was told it happens all the time because the have menus from another restaurant and I was charged the higher amounts.
The fajitas had no flavor, the queso was bland. The menu is way over priced. The only thing that was good was our waitress Allie or Ellie, she was very attentive and very polite.
I gave this place 2 stars because it is brand new and needs time to figure everything out, but my experienced deserved 0 stars. Crappy, "Cabo Spring Break" music was so loud outside we couldnt hear each other. The food looked like something you would find at a truck stop. The "special" was 2 lame excuses for enchiladas and a tamale that was probably made yesterday and warmed up in the microwave. The enchiladas were just a tortilla filled with dried meat. Thats it!
