I wish I could give two Stars and maybe I come back.. I sat at the bar from my observation the bartender was over worked and had no help?!?.. There was a Wait for the drinks and the appetizer.. I had to get the kitchen managers attention to get a glass of water and told her I think maybe I get better service at a table, she comped 10$ off I ordered the (overly season to the point of salty)beef fajitas with tacos 16.99$ I even pointed at it.. Sat down at 8:15pm. Waitress came to table about 8 min later with Salsa but No chips. Returned after about 5 min with Silverware, No Menu's or Chips and tried to walk away. Had to ask to order drinks. She came back with the Menu's but still no chips. (Dishwasher was backed up she said). Finally after being seated with Salsa for 20 min we got our chips. We’re in Galveston on vacation and made a special effort to eat at Taquillos. Advertised as gluten free friendly, listed as one of the top three gluten free dining options at Galveston.com. Asking for gluten free options, Our waiter told us he checked with the “chef” and was told they had NO GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS. We left disappointed without eating.

Sorry to say but it was not good. Chicken fajitas should have onions and green peppers. And it had none of them. Just was not good. They didn’t listen to me either that I only wanted lettuce not anything else. I just will not be back.

The bartender was socializing with a friend that sat at her bar, more than her actual paying guests. She was still working, but her social hour isn't during working hours. She was a good enough server, but no SMILE, lacklustre greeting, and I'm sure her tips will reflect that. Also, TWO runners/ bussers were literally yelling across the restaurant! COME ON, Y'ALL!
