Had a reservation for 10. As soon as they seated us they wanted our dinner order & never took a drink order. We asked for a drink menu twice, one guest asked for a glass of wine three times before it was delivered. The waiter would bring one basket of bread for a table of 10. We sat there for close to an hour before getting our food which was lukewarm when we received it. For the price you pay you would expect better service. Will not be back.
For what was paid for dinner here it could have been a steak cooked properly. 43 dollars for a steak with no sides. Having the food come all at once affected it’s quality as well, some sides were barely warm. It was a nice enough place, but for the money I could have fed three people across the street at Taquilos and had better food. We drove in to grab a coffee at Mod and try this place out. The manager ruined this experience and we will not be back. I do not recommend.
RecommendedWent for surf and turf and the food was amazing! They have a great happy hour menu and it was great services all the way around- Rachel was our waitress for the evening, she helps us with her favs, which were amazing- we like to go where the locals go to have good quiet dining and this was the ticket for us- thanks saltwater grill!
I had dinner tonight for my anniversary and have gone to Saltwater for special occasions. I ordered tea and the scallop plate. The tea tastes like old dish water and was undrinkable. My scallops were raw and tiny and the mashed potatoes and vegetables were unseasoned. I asked for new scallops but they refused and heated them up in a dirty skillet and they tasted awful. My husband and I just had date night at Saltwater Grill and it was PHENOMENAL. Service was great, food was beyond amazing - this was the best dinner we've had in the last year at least. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Not the best in Galveston. Service was not fantastic.
If you like bartenders touching your fruit with their hands then placing in your drink this is the place to go!!! I mentioned this to the manager and he said the bartender used a spoon!! LIES!!! Both lied!!! So gross!!!
$130 for an app and two entrees with no alcohol was just too much. Food and service were good but the restaurant was hot and people were standing around at the front door. Just not what I was looking for for my 20th anniversary.
