Robust perfection in flavorful foods, ambiance, and generous staff. A feeling of Elegance in a Casual sort of setting. Quick service, comfortable seating. I'm not sure how they pull that off, it IS how the place makes me feel. I can't say enough about how the staff makes you feel important and comfortable. I recommend it HIGHLY to anyone who can make a trip to Galveston Island. Gumbo Bar is now a Destination for me and Friends . Thank you to the Staff.
Great restaurant and atmosphere! Food was amazing, could have had more of the main course instead of the side that was chosen. But overall, great place with a great selection of beers!
