The best seafood in Galveston. I had the barbecued oysters, bacon wrapped shrimp, and the Mumbo Jumbo. All outstanding. Franjetta, my server was great!

Best gumbo anywhere! They make the gumbo from scratch with the ingredients you want. One Big Daddy gumbo is more than enough for two. Appetizers are great and the beer is cold. What else can I say?

Our third or fourth time here, has yet to disappoint. I had the chargrilled oysters which were amazing! The bread to sop up the garlicky butter cheese mixture was a plus. Husband had shorty shrimp poboy which is plenty. Fries could have been crispier but that’s our preference. Oh and they’re extra, not included, for $2.50 extra. The fried okra is a must.
