Every time we’re in Galveston, we visit the gumbo bar. Today’s experience was excellent!! Jennifer did an excellent job and was very attentive. She recommended our drinks and suggested a good sampler since we didn’t want a huge lunch. If you’re ever in Galveston and visit the Gumbo bar ask for Jennifer! Very good food, and very good service!

We are regulars here. The food is is amazing. The staff is friendly and fun. The overall atmosphere is relaxed and you are part of the family.
We stopped in for a nice relaxing drink, waiter nice, the cook has the patience of a saint... On the other hand the way Jennifer has the audacity to speak to people in here in front of customers is unacceptable! Management needs to take a closer look at that and get rid of the negativity! Employees like her will keep us from coming back.
