Get directionsThis hotel lies literally in the heart of Fell's Point in Baltimore's downtown historic district. That's both good and bad. Good, in that you have a lot of boutique shops to explore, and taverns to choose from. One of the latter I patronized, the Alexander Tavern, served up some very tasty Maryland Vegetable Crab Soup. You will find at night the police make a show of force. That's clearly because things can get a little rowdy. But the police presence reduces the nighttime threat level to "Acceptable For Adults." Very nice place, historical building with nice upgrades. The bed was pretty firm, so if you're used to that and like it, you will sleep great. Incredible service, staff, and atmosphere!!! We hosted our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks at the William Fell Tavern and our wedding guests stayed in a room block. The staff and management were SO SO accommodating and made our night so special. Highly recommend!!! Thank you Widny, Melissa, Meg, and Malik for such a memorable night!
This hotel is beautiful and the staff as so helpful! It pays homage to the historic building while providing modern amenities. Kimberly seamlessly transfer me to a quieter room early in the morning so I could get some more sleep without needing to wait for another room lat... read more
As a Hilton Honors member, I was very disappointed with my recent stay at the William Fell. My stay was charged twice, once on each of the cards on my account, the TV in my room never worked during my stay, and when I requested fresh towels, housekeeping simply tossed them on the bed and left all the used ones in the room. I also emailed the hotel with this feedback over a week ago, prior to posting here, in hopes of receiving a response or at least a partial refund, but I never heard back. For the price, I expected much bet... read more
