Our stay at The William Fell had mixed feelings. From the front of the hotel, I probably should’ve known what to expect. The lobby is beautifully decorated and gives a great first impression, but getting to the room was a challenge. We had to carry luggage up 4 outside steps just to enter, then another 10 stairs to reach our room. Unfortunately, this location does not have a bellman to assist with bags. Our room view overlooked the backyards of nearby residential homes… definitely not the waterfront vibe we expected lol. To... read more

The anchor bar downstairs is truly a gem. Go there but don’t stay at the hotel. See *no toilet paper below. From the moment we arrived, the desk agent could not have conveyed better that he couldn’t care less about us as guests. From his posture (he never did stand up from his seat) to his tone, the message was that he didn’t care. Then when we got to the room, there was no toilet paper. None. I learned the hard way. I got a text message after checking-in. I assume this is automated but it said to text with any needs. A... read more

The location is great. There’s plenty of food, drinks and things to see within walking distance. I was surprised at how quiet it was in my room. Fells Point is a “lively” neighborhood (noisy), so having a quiet and comfortable place to sleep was awesome. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I thought the price was very reasonable, especially compared to other hotels in the area. I will definitely stay there again. NOTE: I didn’t need to park a vehicle, so I can’t vouch fo... read more

Fantastic location. Shops, markets at weekends, restaurants and water taxis. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Valet service well worth not worrying about your car, as parking is challenging and expensive. Our room was small, but this is an old building. You could only get out of bed on one side. There was only one chair at the desk. Very limited surface space to place your belongings. The wardrobe was small and open, no doors. The bathroom had no surfaces to place your toiletries on. There was no toilet roll h... read more

This is one of the finest hotels in Baltimore's financial and commercial district -- and close to many of the city's historic areas. The rooms were spacious, comfortable. and beautifully attended. The staff, from first welcome was very kind, and professional. The building itself is extraordinary, with one of the most stunning lobbies. Their excellent restaurant off the lobby was excellent, with fine food and a very good bar, and engaging staff. I highly recommend a stay here.
