Our wedding (July 2024) at The Wentworth Inn was nothing short of magical, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the mountains. The venue itself was meticulously maintained, with freshly done landscaping and vibrant flowers that added to the charm of our special weekend. The Inn offered a variety of activities for us and our guests to enjoy during their free time, including a pool, golf, bikes, fitness center, massages, and more. This is one of those gems we've found by accident. The room was impeccable and very comfortable with anything you could want in a hotel. The staff is friendly courteous and effective. We actually booked a night because of the price, and extended 2 more nights because of the hotel. I can think of no negatives or improvements to offer. Don't change, we'll be back!
After my 4th visit to the wentworth, it will be my last. Things have definitely changed! The AC in our suite never worked, even after they came and checked and said it wa fixed , it never got below 75 in our room. We opened the windows, but the only window that stayed up had no screen. There is no more surround sound in the room. The hot tub jets barely worked. They still advertise breakfast made to order with mimosas, we were never offered a mimosa, and it’s a breakfast buffet now, that wasn’t great and was cold.... read more
This is a lovely place, old school hotel, style Switzerland. 1. The breakfast is awesome as well as the service and it's included in the package. 2. Their breakfast includes food they prepare there and it is wonderful. 3. There are two ebikes you can use at will. 4. There is a lot of light in the rooms although they are not too big. 5. This Inn has remnants that indicate it was a lovely place in its day, and maybe there are better rooms and we just got placed in a cheapy, I'm not sure. The common areas, lobby, restaurant, etc., all show very nicely, they are well decorated, nice materials and finishes. The room we stayed in was in really poor condition. Maintenance seems to be lacking in this facility. When we checked in, our room AC was set at 68 but it was 74 in our room and I felt no airflow.
