We recently stayed here for one night while passing through after a trip to Syracuse. We booked it because it was the most affordable reputable “budget” hotel in the area and were incredibly pleased with our stay. The hotel has clearly recently been renovated and was beautiful. The lobby area was clean and well attended to. The rooms felt very well kept, smelled clean, and the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Upon arrival at the Comfort Inn and Suites—Verona, we had been driving/traveling for two days with our 18 month old son. Vicki was the first person we met that evening at check-in. Her customer service goes beyond measure!! She was friendly, patient, and genuinely caring. After such a long trip, we were exhausted and her attitude made a huge difference for our family!! Vicki at the front desk was absolutely amazing. We drove in from out of town and had some bad weather, so we were a bit frazzled when we got there. She made it all so much better. She was so sweet and accomdating. I have stayed at many hotels and have encountered so mamy people, she was by far one of the nicest. I truly appreciate all her help and her efforts, which made our stay even better. Thank you Vicki. And I apologize if it is Vicky, not Vicki. The hotel is smart having you at the front desk. You are a people person.

I’m a travel agent who works specifically with housing groups in hotels, so I’ve experienced my fair share of challenges when dealing with hotel staff, especially at the front desk. With that said, Vickie was absolutely amazing! I have never met someone so willing, happy, and excited to help me, even when the mistake was completely my own.
