Shout out Esma! We were driving by on our way back from town and we’re delighted at the most awesome customer service when we stopped in to get some dessert to go. Our server was super friendly and she made us feel at home in the Building building… because of Esma’s hospitality and friendliness, and helping us navigate the dessert menu, we are going to be booking a hotel stay here many times in the future! This is a cozy spot for a drink, snack or meal after a day on the mountain or exploring the area. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable. We came twice on a recent stay one time for a meal and again for drinks. The cocktails are tasty and well balanced with good flavor profiles. To start off with, the food was geeat. You wouldn't think that this in any of itself was so important, but for whatever reason, finding great food in Jackson is hard. The service was great too, also a surprise, because there was only one person waiting on a full bar and over 20 people on tables; the bartender (his name was Leon). I tipped him well for his stellar service. That said, it is more of a locals spot than it is a destination, and it definitely needs to hire more staff.
Great visit! Came twice during our stay, once for dinner and once for cocktails. Charlie helped us the first evening and perfectly balanced attentiveness and space to make for a great dinner experience. Leon assisted us the second evening and quickly served us with great energy before our dinner reservations. The food and drinks were excellent both evenings. Highly recommend!
Dylan and Charlie were absolutely amazing in the Alpine Lounge. They both hustled for a very busy crowd and didn’t skip a beat!! We were visiting for The Weekend watching the play off games and loved our time in the local bed. Great staff!! Love it!! The Dommels
